The beginning

February 12, 2014. The journey begins. If only I knew what was about to come.
Thessaloniki, Greece,11:30pm. The plane takes off. My eyes are stuck on the window. My heart is playing drums under my chest. We fly upon the clouds, but my mind flies across the universe. My first travel abroad. The first step. The beginning.
Bergamo, Italy. Almost two hours later, we reach our destination. I walk down the airstairs and it's like I'm walking for the first time in my life. Everything is new. I look around, amazed. Noticing every little detail, like a blind person who sees the world for the first time. My heart is flooded by a unique feeling. I d
